algebraic K-theory

Dear all,

The purpose of this announcement is to bring the following (conference level) workshops at the Newton Institute in Cambridge to the attention of anyone who is working on these or related topics. One can apply online at the website

where each application to attend has to be made through the page of the workshop. Some (limited) funding may be available.

NB note that the deadlines are about four months before the workshops, and that the deadlines of the first two below are coming up relatively soon.


1. Workshop on "Algebraic K-theory, motivic cohomology and motivic homotopy theory"

Dates: March 23- March 27, 2020. Deadline to apply: December 29, 2019.

2. Workshop on "Arithmetic geometry, cycles, Hodge theory, regulators, periods and heights"

Dates: March 30- April 3, 2020. Deadline to apply: January 5, 2020.

3. Workshop on "Mathematical physics: algebraic cycles, strings and amplitudes"

Dates: June 1, 2020-June 5, 2020. Deadline to apply: March 1, 2020.

Note that the first two workshops listed here are essentially back-to-back, making it feasible to attend both.
