Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the first European Talbot workshop on
"Invariants of structured ring spectra", mentored by Prof. Bjørn Ian
Dundas and Prof. Birgit Richter. It will take place in Klosters,
Switzerland, June 28 - July 4, 2015.

The goal is to bring together a group of 25-30 graduate students and
post-docs to stay and work together at a Chalet, under the guidance of
the two senior mentors. Most of the talks will be given by the
participants, and there will be plenty of free time for further
discussions and collaborations.

More information and the online application form can be found at
http://gr-he.epfl.ch/talbot15. The application deadline is March 15,
2015, and we would especially like to encourage women and
underrepresented minorities to apply. Please note that this workshop
is taking place the week before the Young Topologists' Meeting 2015 at
EPFL, Switzerland, which has an application deadline of February 28th.
Those wishing to attend both should arrange their travels accordingly.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to
contact the organizers at etalbot2015@gmail.com.

We hope to see many of you in Switzerland this summer!

Best wishes,
Tobias Barthel and Sean Tilson
