Abstract: In recent years there has been an explosion of interest in
understanding the connection between multiple zeta values, elliptic
modular forms and elliptic curves, especially elliptic motives, and
how these objects could lead to a good definition of 'elliptic zeta
values'.

The focus of this workshop is this connection. The topics will include
various descriptions of elliptic motives, variations of mixed
elliptic Hodge structures, elliptic polylogarithms, elliptic
associators, various mapping class groups, integral values of elliptic
L-functions and related computations involving Eisenstein series, and
applications to Feynmann diagrams.  Related topics that should help
enrich our understanding include computing rational/integral points of
hyperelliptic curves and relations between multiple zeta values, cusp
forms for SL_2(Z) and SL_3(Z), the Galois group Gal(\bar{Q}/Q), and
modular varieties.

This conference will facilitate the exchange of ideas and techniques
among various researchers engaged in studying these structures, and
lead to further advances and applications of elliptic motives to
problems of general interest.

The MZV research trimester at ICMAT (including this workshop) is
sponsored by the Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad
through a Severo Ochoa Grant.  The workshop is also sponsored by the
Humboldt University as part of the Kosmos Summer University, and by
the Clay Mathematics Institute (CMI).

There may be limited funding available for PhD students and young
researchers.  If you are interested in applying, please state your
interest when registering so we can contact you for supporting
documentation.

Please don't hesitate to email o.patashnick@bristol.ac.uk with any questions.
